1. All ages can hit as many or as few batters as they want as long as they hit 10 in 8u and 9 in 9u-18u. A team can start a game with 8 players if that is all that they have an they do not have to take an out.
2. No bunting in 8u
3. Our 9u is played Modified or Closed bases. Modified implies that there is a line 10 feet beyond each base and the runner can lead off to that line pre pitch. And after the ball crosses the plate, the play is live. Closed bases is the same exact rules as modified except instead of a line, the runner must keep at least one foot on the base. For all AA events there is no dropped 3rd strike and no infield fly rule.
4. Time limits
8u: 1:00
9u-HS Pool: 1:30
9u-HS Bracket: 1:45
– For One day events the Championship is still 1:00 for 8u and 1:45 for 9u-HS.
– For Two day events the Championship is 1:15 for 8u and 2 hours for 9u-HS
5. 14u all hitters must hit with a -3 bbcor or wood bat
